Caban Coch Dam

The Caban Coch reservoir is named after the "red house". The hut in question was an office used by the victims of the last llamhigyn y dwr. Micheal Booth, manager of the site explains it as "Put it this way. It was red when the rescuers got there, and I don't mean red on the outside." The llamhigyn y dŵr appear at times of pain or disaster, and it is believed that the creation of the dam on an area of extreme supernatural activity caused the emergence of the llamhigyn.
